ABOUT US

Promoting Science and Technology Since 2013

Explorer Robotics is a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to providing young people with quality robotics and STEM experiences. Our program was established in 2013 at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania through FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) Team 5181. Since our inception, we have started many more FIRST® robotics teams, hosted various STEM-related camps, and trained numerous educators to mentor robotics teams at their own schools.

A Symbol for STEM Education

Our “star” logo is a reproduction of the Signum Fidei star of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, meaning the “sign of faith."

Each vertex of the star represents a core value of our robotics program and our Lasallian heritage: benevolence, civility, humanitarianism, service-oriented goals, and scientific pursuit. Through these values, we have identified a mission to promote STEM and FIRST® to a global audience.

Our Mission

To provide quality, comprehensive STEM education to children and young adults of all backgrounds in hopes of inspiring the next generation of leaders and innovators in our community and the world.
