Can you name the states surrounding Tennessee? Or how many zeros are in a googol?

At Explorer Robotics, we believe in the power of teamwork, innovation, and community engagement. On April 29th, we debuted our very first Explorer Robotics Quizzo fundraiser: an exciting trivia game that brought people together for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and good food. We are thrilled to share the success of this event, which not only tested our participants' knowledge but also raised funds to support our robotics program. Let's dive into the highlights of this remarkable evening!

Uniting Trivia Enthusiasts and Beginners

The Explorer Robotics Quizzo fundraiser brought together trivia experts alongside many first-timers (just like us!). Friends, families, and even co-workers formed teams of eight, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly rivalry. The event not only showcased a passion for trivia but also fostered new connections within our community.

Engaging Trivia Questions

Can you name the states surrounding Tennessee? Or how many zeros are in a googol? The heart of the event was the thrilling trivia competition. Our event emcee meticulously curated a wide range of questions covering various topics such as science, history, pop culture, geography, and more. Participants were challenged to put their knowledge to the test, sparking lively discussions and bursts of laughter throughout the night.

Prizes and Surprises

To add to the thrill, we had an array of fantastic prizes up for grabs. A La Salle-themed raffle basket, giveaways to each of the round winners, and a 50/50 raffle added an extra layer of excitement, ensuring the winning team wasn't the only one to go home with something special.

Supporting Explorer Robotics

While the Quizzo fundraiser was all about having a great time, it served a larger purpose as well. The funds raised from this event will directly benefit our robotics program. With these proceeds, we can purchase new equipment, donate tools to schools in need, and continue inspiring the next generation of innovators and leaders.

The success of Explorer Robotic's first Quizzo fundraiser surpassed our expectations. We are grateful to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this event, making it an impactful evening. We especially thank our sponsors who made the event possible. The volunteers, led by outgoing seniors Kevin and Chris White, did an awesome job running the buffet and raffles. Mr. Jon Allison emceed and Mr. Vishal Patel oversaw the catering and event set-up. Thank you all!

See you at Quizzo next year!
